Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial testing equipment, with a primary focus on hydraulic systems. This role is responsible for diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably to support testing and production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems on testing equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
Replace or rebuild hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses
Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams as needed
Qualifications:
Experience repairing hydraulic systems in industrial or testing environments
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
