Brightwater Lagoon (show me) is seeking an energetic and outgoing Supervisor to assist in managing the guest arrivals and ticket area going into peak season.  This is a F/T hourly position on the leadership team, with many opportunities for future growth.

SUMMARY:

The Guest Arrivals (GA) Supervisor leads the team responsible for selling all tickets and rentals at the lagoon as well as checking guests in and resolving guest questions and concerns both onsite and via phone. This is a hands-on position, working both indoors and outdoors, and the successful candidate will both direct and participate in tasks with his or her team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides and models excellent customer service
• Responsible for leading a team that performs the following tasks: sell lagoon tickets, rental products, umbrella services and activities. This team also assist guests with any questions or concerns onsite and via phone
• Maintains inventory and equipment
• Creates schedules, prepares, and reviews reports, checklists, and other paperwork
• Assesses employees’ progress: coaches with positive reinforcement and disciplines, when necessary, fairly, and consistently
• Manages daily budget hours and works with leadership to revise and develop changes as needed
• Provides resident updates and information entry
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum one-year supervisory experience
• Minimum two years’ experience in ticket sales
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid & AED certifications
• Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
• Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work outside in all-weather elements for extended periods of time
