Caregiver - Urgently Hiring!

Job Summary

We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance. Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s personal assistive devices
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning patient areas and ensuring hygiene standards are met
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and compassionate engagement
• Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings or group homes with a strong understanding of patient observation and care planning
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are a plus
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia-related conditions including Alzheimer’s and memory care
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper techniques; experience with Hoyer lifts is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with healthcare teams, residents, families, and social workers
• Strong attention to detail for monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records
• Compassionate attitude combined with patience to provide empathetic support to residents with complex needs

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
