What You'll Do As a Weekend RN, you'll provide skilled nursing services to clients in their homes throughout the Des Moines metro area. Depending on client needs, visits may include:

• Skilled nursing assessments and visits
• Medication setup and management
• Infusions and injections
• Wound care
• G-tube and tracheostomy care
• Catheter and ostomy changes
• New client admissions and assessments
• Plan of care development and updates
• Patient and family education
• Coordination with physicians and other members of the care team
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation

What We're Looking For

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently in a home-care environment
• Dependable, professional and organized
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for weekend assignments
