Business Development Specialist Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth through proactive lead generation, prospecting, and outreach
- Build, maintain, and strengthen referral partnerships to increase client volume
- Actively pursue sales opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing accounts
- Identify, develop, and cultivate new markets and service lines to achieve growth targets
- Track, guide, and report referral-based growth, maintaining strong visibility in the community
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, presentations, and community partnerships that generate leads
- Maintain accurate records of all referral activities, visits, and interactions using CRM tools and internal systems
- Deliver timely follow-up, exceptional customer service, and professional communication with referral partners, internal staff, and prospective clients
Business Development Specialist Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience in marketing, sales, business development, outreach, or related experience in the home health / health care industry
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build trust, influence, and maintain professional relationships
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing time effectively to meet or exceed goals
- Comfortable with extensive driving within the Denver metro area
- Ability to lift/move at least 25 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
