Overview
An infrastructure-focused IPP developing utility-scale battery energy storage projects across the U.S., backed by institutional investors.
Role
The Investment Associate will support the investments team in underwriting, executing, and financing large-scale battery storage assets (100 MW). The role covers both development-stage projects and acquisitions.
There is also exposure to structured finance, including debt and tax equity processes as projects move into construction.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain project finance models for investment decisions
- Support evaluation and execution of acquisitions and due diligence processes
- Assist with debt and tax equity financing activities, including data room management
- Maintain internal market datasets used for modeling assumptions
- Support investment committee materials and presentations
- Help maintain corporate and portfolio financial models
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field
- 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, project finance, or infrastructure roles
- Strong financial modeling skills, ideally in project finance
- Experience with transaction execution and diligence
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical ability, organization, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
