What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Brighton Solutions, Inc?
Brighton Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist with experience in A/R (accounts receivables) and Collections. In this role, you will be joining a finance team that is professional and expanding to meet the demands of the business.
In this role, you will be supporting multiple tasks including:
- Maintenance of bookkeeping databases (such as Netsuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)) and spreadsheets and updating A/R data as needed
- Tracking payments and logging them into the databases
- Gathering data and reaching out to clients to provide invoicing updates
- Creating reports for review with the finance team
To perform this role effectively, we are seeking an individual with:
- 5 years experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably with experience in A/R or Collections
- Experience working with Accounting Software
- Education of an Associates degree or higher would be preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communications skills
- A team player
This role can be supported on a hybrid work environment basis - 2 days onsite per week. This is a contract role with an expected duration of about 6 months. This will require full time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week typically. The position offers excellent benefits including medical, dental, 401(k) and life insurance.
