What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Nail/Cosmetology Instructor position at Brighton Institute of Cosmetology?
Brighton Institute of Cosmetology is seeking a well-rounded, positive and energetic Manicuring Instructor/Cosmetology Instructor with experience in teaching manicuring.
- The ideal candidate will be able to flex from instructing in the classroom to providing instruction and guiding students with client services on the clinic floor.
This is a Full-Time position.
Paid holidays include:

Responsibilities:
-Implement lesson plans and educational programs for manicuring students.
- Provide instruction on various manicuring techniques, including artificial applications, nail art, pedicuring, nail care and related topics.
- Teach students about anatomy and physiology as it relates to manicuring.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and provide hands-on training to students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure curriculum remains relevant.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
PASSIONATE ABOUT TEACHING !!
-Manicurist Instructor License (preferred)
-Cosmetology Instructor License- must have strong knowledge in teaching manicuring.
- Previous experience as a cosmetology instructor/manicuring instructor or in a similar teaching role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of manicuring techniques and applications.
- Familiarity with anatomy and physiology as it relates to nail technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize emotional & mental needs of students and cater their learning environement accordingly.
