Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Open Shift: 1st shift 7a-3p
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and interaction.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining resident confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience working with seniors.
- Strong observational skills to monitor resident conditions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
