Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and compassionate Live-In Caretaker to join our Personal Care Home. This role is ideal for someone who understands the responsibility and heart required in caregiving and is comfortable working in a home-style setting. We are looking for someone dedicated to providing high-quality care for seniors and individuals with specialized needs. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of our residents. This position offers room and board as part of the compensation package.
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $100–$150/ day (depending on experience) getting paid biweekly
- Schedule: 3–5 days per week
- Room and board included
- Location: Atlanta, GA
About Our Residents:
Our home supports adults with varying needs, consisting of mostly independent seniors. This role requires someone who is observant, patient, and proactive in maintaining a safe and structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Specialized Care: Provide support for residents focusing on patience and dignity.
- Meal Preparation: Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious daily meals.
- Daily Assistance: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene and mobility support.
- Vigilant Observation: Monitor residents' health and behavior, reporting any significant changes immediately.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and meaningful connection.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in senior care or caretaking is a strong plus.
- Skills: Basic cooking skills are required.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications are highly preferred.
