Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team dedicated to providing exceptional behavioral health services. The BCBA will develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, supervising behavior intervention programs, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Design and supervise evidence-based behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine treatment goals and progress.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to monitor client progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Provide behavioral therapy sessions for clients, focusing on skill development and reducing problematic behaviors.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including treatment notes, progress reports, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with client needs.
- Supervise registered behavior technicians (RBTs) and other staff involved in client care.
- Stay current with advancements in behavioral health, special education, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy, data collection, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with medical records, medical documentation, and adherence to privacy standards such as HIPAA.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in settings involving special education or behavioral health services.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to perform detailed data analysis and utilize evidence-based practices for treatment planning.
