Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to identify underlying causes of behaviors
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to track client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff to ensure fidelity of interventions
- Perform client assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations, to establish baseline functioning
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure consistency across environments
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health, applied behavior analysis (ABA), functional assessment, and behavior intervention techniques
- Proficiency in data collection methods, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards
- Ability to perform comprehensive client assessments including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations
- Experience working in home-based settings, schools, or clinical environments with children with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision while adhering to ethical standards and best practices
