What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Principal Engineer, Hardware Application Engineering position at Bright Vision Technologies?
We are looking for experienced Senior Principal Engineer – Signal Integrity & Power Integrity (SI/PI) to drive the development and validation of next-generation networking and AI infrastructure platforms.
In this highly visible technical leadership role, you will work directly with hyperscale cloud providers, ODMs, and internal engineering teams to ensure Marvell-based platforms deliver world-class performance from prototype through high-volume production.
• Lead Signal Integrity and Power Integrity strategy for high-speed Ethernet Switch and UALink platforms.
• Perform channel modeling, post-layout extraction, simulation, and compliance validation.
• Develop PCB layout guidelines and Power Delivery Network (PDN) recommendations.
• Provide SerDes tuning guidance using simulation, lab measurements, and field data.
• Conduct SI/PI validation using VNAs, BERTs, oscilloscopes, TDRs, and compliance test equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, ODMs, silicon, packaging, and hardware engineering teams.
• Support reference platform development and mentor engineering teams on SI/PI best practices.
✔ Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
✔ 15 years of hardware design and validation experience.
✔ 10 years of hands-on experience in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity for high-speed SerDes platforms.
✔ Strong expertise with SI/PI tools such as Ansys HFSS, SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, Clarity, or PowerSI.
✔ Experience with 112G/224G PAM4 SerDes, high-speed PCB design, and compliance testing.
✔ Excellent customer-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
