Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor adventures to ensure participants are engaged and having fun.
- Supervise children during all camp activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Manage group dynamics with effective classroom management and behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions.
- Provide first aid when necessary, maintaining calmness and professionalism in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with staff to plan daily schedules, coordinate events, and ensure a smooth camp operation.
- Foster a positive environment rooted in respect, inclusivity, and encouragement that supports the social and emotional well-being of all campers.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain order while encouraging creativity and independence.
- Experience in working with children across various age groups, including early childhood education or daycare settings.
