GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Romulus, Michigan trucking company is seeking an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills. The agent ensures complete and accurate compliance with State, Federal and D.O.T. requirements regarding Driver Hours of Service Logs. This position requires extensive communication with drivers over the phone and face to face.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Audits information for inaccuracies and log falsifications. Notifies Driver of inaccuracies and attempts to immediately resolve. Follows up with Driver to ensure corrective action has taken place. Onboarding drivers, as well as other compliance and safety duties.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to work in whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
The ability to understand and follow specific instructions received in governmental publications, notices, periodicals & regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Monitor & Manage Maintenance Files
· Work at a fast pace
· Manage driver new hire paperwork with recruiters and other Departments
· Ensure appropriate collection of information, documentation of events, and reporting per company policy.
· Fuel Receipts / IFTA
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Hours of Service DOT rules and regulations preferred, not required
Transportation industry experience preferred, not required

Mon-Fri
