Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, mold, and flood restoration projects, demonstrating emergency response readiness.
- Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
- Conduct fire restoration activities such as soot and smoke removal, structural cleaning, and odor control.
- Execute water damage restoration procedures utilizing industry-standard techniques like water extraction, drying, and mold remediation.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and team members to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all restoration activities to ensure safety from respiratory hazards and contaminants.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including safety compliance documentation and progress reports.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or exposure to hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with clients professionally to explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with the restoration process.
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of water damage restoration, flood recovery, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and industry-specific software.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations with on-call coverage availability as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection use and proper PPE application.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward helping clients through stressful situations.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly in various conditions.
