Position: Per Diem Cleaning Technician
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work. Whether you have professional cleaning experience or are new to the industry, we provide hands-on, on-site training to help you succeed and deliver the high-quality service our clients expect.
This is a per diem, as-needed position. There are no guaranteed hours, and work is offered based on client demand and scheduling needs. This role is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who is looking for supplemental income or enjoys the flexibility of accepting work as jobs become available.
As a small, locally owned business, we do not currently offer employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, or holiday pay. Our current focus is on building a strong team and continuing to grow. As Bright Side Cleaning expands, our goal is to offer additional benefits and opportunities to our team members in the future.
Compensation
- Earn 25% commission on each job.
- Guaranteed minimum pay of $17 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Perform residential, Airbnb, move-in/move-out, and post-construction cleanings according to company standards.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and disinfect assigned areas.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living spaces.
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists and company procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns or property damage when observed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while respecting clients’ homes and privacy.
- Work efficiently while maintaining our high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the workday, including bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
- Reliable transportation, or a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
