Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hr W2 Benefits and $60,000 Conversion Salary Excellent Benefits

Bright Minds' Fortune 500 and industry leading client is searching for a Service Desk Technician to support employee onboarding and equipment provisioning in a fast-paced enterprise environment in the Lenexa, KS area. This role is focused on preparing and deploying end-user technology to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
In this position, you will primarily handle the setup, assignment, and shipment of laptops and related equipment. Responsibilities include imaging or configuring devices using established processes, assigning assets to users, and coordinating shipments to ensure timely delivery. This role follows standardized, repeatable workflows with a strong emphasis on accuracy, organization, and task completion.
This is not a troubleshooting-heavy role. There is minimal field support and no expectation for advanced technical or networking work. Success in this position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to efficiently execute routine tasks in a high-volume environment.
Requirements for the IT Onboarding Technician:
- Experience in a service desk, IT support, or device provisioning environment supporting over 1,000 users, ideally coming from an enterprise environment
- Comfortable following structured processes and handling repetitive, automated tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage tickets, task queues, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Basic familiarity with Windows environments and asset management tools is preferred
