Synergy Labor Solutions is seeking a local IT Support Technician for an on-site project in De Soto, KS. This is a 6-month contract opportunity providing day-to-day technical support to the project team.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on help desk, desktop support, or Geek Squad-type experience who is comfortable assisting with general administrative duties during IT downtime.
Pay: $34–$36/hr DOE
Location: De Soto, KS – On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Duration: Approximately 6 months
Local candidates only – no per diem
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support for on-site personnel
- Troubleshoot laptops, tablets, printers and Microsoft 365
- Support Jibble tablets and timekeeping devices
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and basic network connectivity
- Assist with user onboarding and hardware deployment
- Coordinate escalated technical issues with the corporate IT team
- Provide general administrative support when IT needs are light
Qualifications:
- Previous IT support, help desk, desktop support or similar hands-on experience
- Comfortable troubleshooting common hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable and comfortable working in an active project environment
- Willing to assist with administrative tasks as needed
This position is not replacing corporate IT. It serves as the on-site first point of contact for everyday technical issues and the liaison between the project team and central IT.
