Position Title: Medical Assistant/Technician
Position Type: Full Time; 35 Hours Weekly

Location: Primary office located in Berkeley; travel to Toms River and Point Pleasant as needed
Department: Outpatient
Salary: $42,500 - $45,500
Responsibilities:
- Assist with medication refills and prior authorizations
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vitals, preparing lab specimens, and administering medications under the supervision of a physician
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms
- Manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as needed
- Provide education to patients regarding their medications and treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care instructions
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current NJ Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer applications and the use of electronic health records
