This is a Monday through Friday position working around 3 hours mornings cooking and or caring for infants/toddlers and 3 hours working with all ages afternoons.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts.
- Provide attentive care for toddlers preschoolers, and school age children ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
- Manage classroom environments with effective classroom management techniques to encourage positive behavior and learning.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- obtain CPR certification (including pediatric first aid), and adherence to childcare regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, behavior management, preschool education, and early childhood best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving is great but traning will be provided.
- Managing young children’s activities in early childhood education settings.
- Experience preparing nutritious meals for children while maintaining food safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members while fostering a positive learning environment.
