Responsibilities

• Supervising children during play, learning activities, meals, and nap times to ensure safety and engagement.
• Creating lesson implementation, activity setup, and clean-up to foster a stimulating learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one attention and care to children as needed, especially during transitions or when additional supervision is required.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's daily experiences, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies or minor injuries.
• Enforce classroom rules and behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the daycare center to ensure a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Resume.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining flexibility across different classroom assignments.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff effectively.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and well-being.
• Passion for nurturing children's growth through play-based learning and developmentally appropriate activities.
