Duties
- Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, creativity, social skills, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to support healthy growth and comfort
- Monitor children’s behavior using effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on children’s progress and any concerns that arise
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health and safety standards for childcare settings.
Experience
- Must be 18 years old.
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly valued
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure quick response in emergencies however, it is not a requirement. We will help to provide assistance in finding trainings.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with children and families
