Evening Academic Program Administrator – BYU Salt Lake Center
The BYU Salt Lake Center Evening Academic Program Administrator serves as the course evaluation, scheduling, and contracts administrator in the evening under the direction of the Associate Director and Director of the CE Classroom Programs department. This position acts as the regular on-duty evening administrator and is responsible for visiting and observing Continuing Education courses taught at the Salt Lake Center. The role works fully on-site with a schedule of Monday 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday 1:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. There is no remote work option for this position.

Typical Starting Pay: $65,500 - $84,500
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.

What You’ll Do In This Position
- Coordinate course evaluations, including identifying classes to observe, visiting courses, and documenting instructional practices and student experience
- Provide feedback materials for instructors and leadership based on classroom observations and support faculty training and onboarding
- Assist with faculty contracting processes and ensure compliance with university and Continuing Education policies
- Support Salt Lake Center operations, including evening campus oversight, coordination with facilities, safety, and security teams
- Assist with course scheduling, resolving conflicts, and coordinating evening events and building usage
- Provide evening administrative oversight for academic services, including front desk, library, and testing center operations
- Support student success initiatives in collaboration with advisement and Student Success Center teams
What qualifies you for this role:
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of full-time related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and employee management abilities
- Ability to work independently and plan strategically
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies
- Master’s or Ph.D. in an education-related field
- 5 years of work experience in higher education
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Work experience at BYU with knowledge of its structure, systems, and policies
