The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.

What You Will Be Doing In This Position
Event Planning & Logistics
- Coordinate event logistics including venue reservations, AV setup, catering, room layouts, and presenter support
- Create event materials such as programs, invitations, seating charts, and handouts
- Assist with seminar and workshop preparation, including assembling binders and event packets
- Communicate with attendees and presenters to ensure a seamless event experience
- Input and update event information in the Faculty Center database
- Assist with surveys, event feedback collection, and expense tracking
- Support inventory management and purchasing processes as needed
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to faculty, administrators, and campus partners
- Collaborate with departments including Scheduling, Catering, AV Services, Custodial, and Conference Services
- Help oversee student event staff and delegate tasks during events
What qualifies you for this role
- 1 year of experience in customer service, event coordination, logistics, or related work
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Event planning experience
- Familiarity with BYU campus operations and policies
- Experience with databases, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Forms
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant university experience
