Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Geriatric Behavioral Health

Brigade Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as a consultative behavioral health physician supporting older adults in assisted living and senior care settings. This unique role focuses on collaboration, education, and improving behavioral health outcomes without the burden of a traditional high-volume patient panel.
What You'll Do- Provide psychiatric consultation to NP and PA providers on complex behavioral health cases.
- Offer guidance on psychotropic medications, dementia-related behaviors, and care escalation.
- Lead biweekly case conferences and educational sessions.
- Collaborate with assisted living communities and interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in future program development and clinical leadership opportunities.
- MD or DO with completion of Psychiatry residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active, unrestricted medical license.
- Experience with geriatric psychiatry, dementia, or senior populations preferred.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Flexible schedule; minimum of 4-5 hours per week
