What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Lead position at Bridor USA, Inc.?
The Sanitation Lead is responsible for overseeing and participating in the cleaning and sanitation processes across our facility. This role ensures that all areas meet our rigorous cleanliness and safety standards while leading and directing the sanitation team to maintain an orderly production environment.
Training Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
- Schedule may vary based on training and operational needs
Regular Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
Working Conditions:
- Work Schedule: Some weekdays with weekends Required working around production schedules
- Work Hours: 36-48 hours work week, 10-hour shifts. Days or nights, as required by production needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and actively participate in all cleaning and sanitation tasks, ensuring every area of the facility meets our high standards
- Guide the sanitation team, ensuring production areas inside and outside the facility remain clean and well-maintained
- Adhere to and enforce food safety and personal safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment, following all standard operating procedures.
- Provide clear guidance and training to the sanitation team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain accurate cleaning records and ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and chemicals
- Identify and report any sanitation-related issues to the Senior QA Manager, conducting regular checks of cleaning documentation
- Perform other related tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, with strong reading and writing skills in both languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with quality systems and controls in a manufacturing setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently under pressure
- HACCP Certification and Forklift Certification are highly desirable

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
