As a Quality Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring food safety and quality standards are met while gaining hands-on experience and professional development in a supportive and evolving plant environment.
What You Will Do
- Collect, review, and validate production documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes and maintain high-quality standards
- Conduct inspections and audits, including metal detector checks and pest control verification
- Train and support employees on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Identify non-conformities and assist in developing corrective and preventive actions
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to update procedures and support new plant initiatives
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry, with exposure to Quality Assurance and GMPs
- High school diploma or GED required
- PCQI (Preventive Controls for Human Food) certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
