POSITION TITLE: FT PRP Program Director
REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)

Job Description: Responsible for organizing program services and support to ensure that clients needs are being met through strengthening their decision-making skills, personal and professional growth and navigating resources in the community through the assistance of their Rehabilitation Coordinator

Requirement: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2 years direct care experience working with youth and adults with a mental health diagnosis.

Specific Duties:

  • Directs the day to day operation and administration of the program, in accordance with program goals and objectives; oversees program coordination and logistics; prepares necessary reports; resolves problems and makes changes to accommodate changing priorities and needs
  • Communicates regularly with Rehab Coordinators as well as clinicians/clinical supervisors as needed, to ensure clinical documentation is completed and any barriers to completion are noted and addressed
  • Assists in the creation and implementation of administrative deadlines for client documentation
  • Monitors timely submission of documentation
  • Facilitate training on SOP as needed
  • Process and manage client authorizations
  • Assess productivity of PRP staff
  • Reviews schedule of clients weekly to monitor billable and non-billable submissions and assists coordinators with addressing barriers to submissions
  • Assists in streamlining the flow of communication from administrative to PRP employees
  • Development of a sense of team through training and ongoing supervision, support and evaluate PRP staff, including disciplinary actions when needed
  • Conducts monthly supervision with the coordinators.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Unspecific Duties:

  • Ensures coordination and delivery of services and support to Rehab Coordinators
  • Assess program documentation ensuring submission in a timely manner, maintaining effective communication
  • Generate productivity reports
  • Educates direct care staff on how to provide therapeutic services that correlate with the goals identified in the IRP
  • Collects and analyzes program data and participates in evaluating program effectiveness; identifies problems and makes changes within guidelines, or recommends major changes.
  • Manages tasks assigned.

  • Discuss Rehab Coordinators productivity and weekly report with leadership team

Experience:

  • At least 2 years with experience in psychiatric rehabilitation programs or mental health related services.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of COMAR and CARF regulations applicable to the program
  • Knowledge of and ability to work with persons of diverse backgrounds
  • Solution Focused

Education:

  • Bachelors (Required) (Preferred Social Work, Counseling, Administration/Leadership )

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. Ability to effectively present information to management and/or Boards of Directors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
