What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Dundalk PRP Office?
Seeking a qualified Program Director for a growing Psychiatric Rehabilitation program. This is a primarily remote/virtual position. This individual will have extensive PRP experience and be familiar with COMAR regulations and requirements. A qualified applicant will have knowledge of how to complete and monitor Individual Rehabilitation Plans and assessments based on PRP standards. The office of Program Director requires the ability and qualifications to supervise licensed Rehabilitation Specialist and line staff, to include the ability to provide performance evaluations and recommedations to the C.E.O. for advancement, hiring and training for line staff. This individual will also have experience with the national accreditation process, and have the ability to respond to State of Maryland and accreditation requirements.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Individuals must have a minimum of a Masters' degree in psychology, social work or behavioral health administration. A minimum of 5 years' experience in supervising others in a PRP program. Experience in leading a company through national accreditation and familiarity with accreditation requirements and processes. Documented experience in developing and implementing clinical training for PRP line staff.
Other Qualifications Needed:
-2 years or more with PRP experience
-Current or retired license as LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT
- Leadership skills
- Experience with either CARF and/or Joint Commission accreditation processes
-Ability to develop and implement training programs for line staff
- Ability to develop and monitor employee improvement processes
-Proven track record with monitoring employee work with PRP clients and providing evaluations
-Implement Company Policies and Procedures within the context of the PRP field
-Provide oversight and direction to the Rehabilitation Specialist
-Oversee Rehabilitation Specialist and PRP Program manager in the process of document/ chart audits to ensure ongoing compliance with COMAR regulations, and Joint Commission and Company policy
-Oversee Rehabilitation Specialist to ensure timely and accurate admission assessments are completed
-with Rehabilitation Specialist and Assistant Program Manager, ensure clients are tracked from initial assessment to case assignment to coordinators, and IRP and authorization due dates are met
-Conduct quarterly in-service training for PRP staff on issues of sthics, COMAR regulation additions or changes, compliance with Policies and Procedures and other necessary training.
