Collator Trainee

Job Title: Collator/Machine Operator

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A TEST SHOWING ABILITY TO MEASURE TO THE 32nd OF AN INCH

A Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM  M-Th

$17.00/hour during training (usually 12 weeks)

Job Description:
As a Collator, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of our printing process. Your primary responsibility will be to organize and assemble printed materials according to specific job specifications. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality work, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize printed materials for collating.
• Operate collating and finishing equipment.
• Ensure all printed materials are assembled accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a printing or production environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with collating and finishing equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts.
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs overhead.
