Position Overview: The Payroll Administrator position manages payroll process in ADP WFN and performs accounting-related tasks and is responsible for reconciling all employee benefits.
Essential Job Functions
Payroll Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data. Typically using automated system (ADP WFN) to produce accurate and timely payroll. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
- Administer employees all deductions and remittance including garnishment, adding and making changes in deduction and earning codes.
- Administer entire retirement plan including adding, deleting, calculating and remitting files to plan administrator.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, paid-time-off (PTO) accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management.
- Reconcile payroll related entries with general ledger on bi-weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Reconcile all employee benefits with benefit enrollment and invoices.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
- Stays current on payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits
- Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures as needed.
- Annual evaluation, spreadsheet data collection, bonus calculations and other incentives (medical rebate).
- Participates in orientation training and other training as assigned.
- Provides various reports to the CFO as needed.

Education/Certifications:
- Associate's degree, bachelor’s preferred in Accounting/Finance along with 2-5 years of experience.
- Must be detailed oriented and very well organized.
- Two years' experience in HR payroll systems and related software programs, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel and Payroll Systems such as ADP WFN.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
- No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
