Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Summer Helper to join our team for the upcoming hardware refresh. Your primary mission will be to transform one thousand of boxed devices into a ready-to-use fleet for students of BRRSD. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone looking to gain experience in IT operations & logistics.

This isn't just "moving boxes." You will get a behind-the-scenes look at how enterprise-level IT deployments work, learn the fundamentals of Google Workspace for Education, and play a vital role in ensuring our users have the tools they need for the
upcoming year.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily workflow will center around three main pillars: Unboxing, Enrollment, and Inventory.
- Unboxing & Physical Prep: Efficiently unbox new Chromebooks, dispose of packaging materials responsibly, and inspect hardware for any shipping damage.
- System Enrollment: Manual entry to enroll devices into the Google Admin Console, ensuring they are attached to the correct Organizational Unit (OU) and receiving the proper policies.
- Asset Management: Affix asset tags to each device and accurately enroll the Chromebook to the asset tag.
- Quality Control: Perform basic "out-of-box" checks to ensure screens, keyboards, and Wi-Fi connectivity are functioning perfectly before the devices are re-packed or shelved.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the staging area organized and safe.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with the ChromeOS ecosystem is a plus, but a general comfort with technology and the ability to follow step-by-step technical instructions is required.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is critical to ensure our records match our physical asset tags.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 20lb.
- Organization: A "process-oriented" mindset—you enjoy finding the most efficient way to get from Point A to Point B.
