Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Plan menus that are nutritious, appealing, and cater to various dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or services as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate special requests.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
