About the Role:
This candidate is responsible for the direct supervision of the Front Desk team at The Watt Hotel, Tapestry by Hilton in Rahway NJ. You will assist with scheduling, training, and daily operations of the Front Desk with the AGM. The Ideal candidate will have Hotel Front Desk experience, strong communication skills, with the ability to oversee a team of employees and report to management.
Essential Duties:
- Able to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Able to work a shift (s) alone at times
- Able to lift to 40 pounds
- Able to walk, and stand for a significant degree
- Be able to check-in and check-out guests via the hotel PMS system
- Be able to greet guests at the Front Desk based on Hilton Brand Standards
- Able to kneel, reach, bend, feel, talk, see, hear, and lift
- Able to manage and oversee the Front desk department with the AGM
- Respond to guest concerns or issues on behalf of management
- Act as MOD on weekends
Other duties/ Responsibilities
- Train, and coach new Front Desk team members on new SOPs and Brand Standards per AGM or GM directive (s)
- Making sure all guest inquiries, questions, and/or concerns are properly handled per Hilton Brand Standards & hotel SOPs
- Overseeing the scheduling of employees, making sure all shifts are filled as needed per business demands
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications
- Over 2 Years Hotel Front Desk & Guest Service Hospitality Experience, Hilton experience preferred
- Managing or Supervising experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hilton QnQ or PEP Experience Preferred
- Available to work schedule based on hotel business demands
- Able to work AM, PM, Weekends and Holidays per schedule demands
Salary : $20 - $23
