Position Summary

The Maître d’ is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. This role manages reservations, seating flow, and front-of-house coordination while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, service, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth

• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently

• Oversee dining room flow to maximize seating while ensuring guest satisfaction

• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen team

• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and gracefully

• Maintain an organized host stand and accurate reservation system

• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of entrance and dining areas

• Uphold brand standards and service expectations at all times

• Assist with VIP guest relations and special requests

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a host/maître d’ or front-of-house role (preferably upscale or fine dining)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

• Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) preferred

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
