Situated at the heart of our organization, our Procurement and Supply Chain team plays a crucial role in driving profitability, cost efficiency, and generating value. Our team members collaborate closely with business leaders to achieve a balance of cost, inventory, and service excellence. Through Integrated Business Planning and Sales and Operations Execution processes, we ensure smooth operations and alignment across functional areas.

As a teammate, you will gain hands-on experience working on meaningful projects, network with teammates across the organization, learn what it is like to be in Procurement at Bridgestone, and make a lasting impact while developing lifelong skills and competencies to elevate your future career.

Your work may include:

• Conducting analysis on spend data, contract histories, and analyzing data for bidding and sourcing initiatives
• Completing data mining and cleansing
• Building relationships with managers and facilitating frequent communication related to sourcing initiatives, data analysis and implementation
• Providing support on general and special projects, financial analyses, problem resolution and other business/ analysis related needs that affect Procurement.
• Reading proposed contract terms and extract information
• Supporting various on-going projects that may include project leadership, detailed analysis, benchmarking, process mapping, organizational redesign, and business case development

• Demonstrate technical aptitude in major of study

• Practice excellent communication and presentation skills

To thrive in this role, you need…

· To be pursuing a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or another applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited university the semester prior to your start date

· To be sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0

· To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 12-week internship assignment

· No other work experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know!
