Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in Aiken, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our production equipment, ensuring optimal production uptime, and collaborating with the Engineering team to develop and implement new equipment and processes.
About the Role
The Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, performing preventative maintenance and calibration, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge, and an associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to design and implement new equipment and processes
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support as needed during night shift, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics or related field and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics
- PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
