Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators to excavate trenches and move materials efficiently.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide installation and repair work.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, or oil systems with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct concrete finishing tasks such as forming, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces for utility vaults or access points.
• Use welding techniques to join pipes or repair damaged sections as needed on-site.
• Ensure safety compliance by following all construction site protocols and utilizing proper personal protective equipment at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, forklift, and front loader truck.
• Experience with pipeline installation, plumbing systems, and oil & gas infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of pipe lasers
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate plans into physical work on-site.
• Skilled in utility locating techniques using pipe lasers or other detection tools.
• Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing processes for utility access points.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
