Bridges Specialties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and support vehicles. This position plays a critical role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently across multiple job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and support vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns in the shop and in the field.
- Conduct inspections and identify repair needs before equipment failures occur.
- Maintain service records and document repairs performed.
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory as needed.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Assist with welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications when necessary.
- Work closely with operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications:
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Ability to read service manuals and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
