Duties

• Set up and assemble formwork using metal, wood, or other materials to create molds for concrete pouring, ensuring accuracy with schematics and blueprints.
• Install and coordinate ICF structures according to blueprint specifications and up to code requirements.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to install rebar reinforcement, align forms, and prepare surfaces for finishing.
• Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and applying textures using trowels, floats, or specialized equipment.
• Manage concrete mixing and pumping operations to ensure proper consistency and timely placement on site.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to site safety protocols.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to execute tasks precisely.
• Conduct restoration work including plastering, stucco application, caulking, and trim carpentry to enhance finished surfaces.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in concrete forming and finishing.
• Proven experience in concrete finishing and form building within commercial or residential construction settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
• Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, and blueprint reading for precise execution.
• Familiarity with related trades such as masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry), and restoration work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during concrete finishing tasks.
• Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings essential for accurate form setup and project planning.
• Prior experience with construction estimating or working with concrete pumping systems is advantageous but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and method of transportation
