What You Will Do:
- Provide compassionate weekend support and hospice nursing care to patients and families
- Perform emergent visits and admissions as directed by the hospice triage nurse
- Complete scheduled visits for transitioning hospice patients
- Assess patient needs with a focus on pain management and symptom control
- Communicate significant findings, changes in condition, and patient concerns to physicians, the on-call Administrator, and interdisciplinary team members
- Obtain physician orders as needed
- Support patients and families with empathy, professionalism, and clinical excellence

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license and valid driver’s license
- 1–2 years of recent hospice experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math proficiency
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting, positioning, and transferring patients
- Able to lift supplies and equipment
- Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Adequate visual acuity and hearing to perform nursing duties safely and effectively
