What You'll Do:
- Oversee pipeline construction projects.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of third party contractors.
- Assign work and monitor construction costs and overall performance.
- Manage subordinate employees within pipeline operations.
- Complete reports of job progress.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
- Verify conformance.
- Assure all contractors and employees know and follow safety and work rules & policies.
- Assign work and monitor construction costs and overall performance.
- Monitor the job site for safety and quality of work.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related business; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Computer Skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn to use proprietary databases.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
