Job Summary
General Laborer and be a vital part of building high-quality homes for the Montana community. In this energetic role, you will assist with various parts of the build process. Hands-on work will contribute to the successful delivery of residential and commercial construction projects. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to tow and back trailers (equipment, materials, dump, and job-site trailers)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly and work full days on your feet
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in Montana weather
- Willingness to follow safety rules, job-site direction, and building codes
- Pass a background check and drug screen if required
Duties
- Load, unload, and stage lumber, siding, and other building materials.
- Assist team with punch-list work.
- Haul debris, keep the site clean, and run the dump trailer.
- Move materials, trailers, and equipment between sites.
- Protect finished work and neighboring property
- Report shortages, damage, and safety issues to the lead
Preferred
- Residential or farm/ranch construction experience is a plus.
- Work ethic and a desire to learn and grow with the company.
- Basic tool knowledge (saw, drill, level, square)
- Experience towing in town, on ice/snow, and on uneven lots
- Ability to read a simple cut list or site plan
Schedule / physical
- Full-time, early start; overtime when required for deadlines.
- Stooping, climbing, kneeling, and working on roofs, crawl spaces, and ladders.
- Must be on time and reachable for next-day site or haul changes
