Position Description

We’re seeking a versatile Enterprise Architect with experience designing and integrating enterprise-scale digital solutions across web, mobile, cloud, hybrid, and AI ecosystems. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with client-facing consulting to define modern architectures, shape technology strategy, and guide multidisciplinary teams.

You will design solutions that integrate various technical capabilities into digital experiences, ensuring they are scalable, secure, ethical, and aligned with client business goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design
  • Define end-to-end architectures spanning web, mobile, cloud, on-prem, API, data, and AI platforms that support digital transformation objectives
  • Assess current-state systems and define target state architectures, migration strategies, and technology standards
  • Guide technology selection across frameworks, cloud services, integration models, and AI ecosystems
• Strategic Technology Planning
  • Create and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on organizational capabilities
• Web & Mobile Architecture 
  • Architect modern web applications using React, Angular, micro frontends, backend-for-frontend, and microservices using established integration strategies and design patterns
  • Lead mobile architecture across cross-platforms such as React Native and native (Swift, Kotlin) stacks 
  • Oversee performance tuning, mobile CI/CD pipelines, app store readiness, and UX-driven architectural decisions
• AI Architecture & Integration
  • Design AI-enabled digital experiences that leverage LLMs, embeddings, search, generative AI, agents, and automation workflows
  • Develop architectures for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent-based systems, and AI-driven personalization 
  • Define integrations with cloud AI platforms such as OpenAI, Google Vertex/Gemini, Databricks, or similar
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams on model integration, data pipelines, orchestration, and monitoring
• Technical Leadership & Delivery
  • Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical architecture designs
  • Guide engineering teams through solution implementation, ensuring architectural consistency
  • Conduct design reviews, establish best practices, and mentor engineers across web, mobile, and AI capabilities 
  • Support pre-sales and business development through solutioning, estimates, client presentations, and RFP/RFI contributions
• Client Engagement & Consulting
  • Serve as a trusted advisor guiding clients through digital transformation, modernization, and AI adoption
  • Facilitate architecture workshops, discovery sessions, and technology assessments
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-aligned narratives for senior stakeholders
• Governance, Security & Standards
  • Define and enforce technical standards, coding conventions, architectural governance, quality, and security best practices
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, ethical use, and industry standards across all digital initiatives

Workplace:  Full-time remote position based in the US and travelling as needed, comprehensive benefits package.  Supporting clients in Eastern and Central timezones in collaboration with globally dispersed team

Must Have Skills:

• 8–10 years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture roles 
• Experience with backend cloud and hybrid architectures and API design
• Expertise in web architecture (React, Angular, C#, micro frontends) 
• Experience in mobile architecture (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, modern mobile patterns)
• Understanding of data strategy and modern data tools (Profisee, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric)
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience architecting and integrating AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, agents, classification models, conversational interfaces, or vector-based search
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, distributed systems, and design patterns
• Solid grasp of DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing approaches 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation programs
• Experience working in a digital consultancy or professional services environment
• Certifications in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe), or AI/ML technologies
