The successful candidate will serve as a trusted legal advisor to product, engineering, business, and policy stakeholders, helping shape the development, launch, and commercialization of products used by customers around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel on the development, launch, and commercialization of technology products and services.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, policy, and business teams to support product launches and strategic initiatives.
- Structure, negotiate, and advise on technology licensing, partnership, and related commercial transactions.
- Counsel stakeholders on legal risks and opportunities associated with new and existing products.
- Advise on government contracting issues and public sector-related engagements.
- Draft, review, and update product-related policies, frameworks, and internal guidance.
- Conduct independent, sophisticated legal analysis and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
- Stay current on evolving legal and regulatory developments impacting technology, intellectual property, privacy, and hardware products.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Significant technology transactions and product counsel experience acquired at a leading technology company.
- Experience advising on government contracts and related regulatory considerations.
- Strong background negotiating and drafting licensing, partnership, and commercial agreements.
- Ability to independently analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic guidance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
