We are looking to fill a full time EXPERIENCED Automotive Service Manager who has a strong sense of leadership mentality. If you are an Automotive Service Manager with a successful track of records and have a stellar work ethic, we would like to meet you.

Job Description:

Full time service manager will be in charge of coordinating the activities of our dealership service departments, ensuring efficiency of operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervision of service advisors, mechanical technicians, wash/detail personnel, and dispatcher, ensuring that all departments meet, maintain and exceed the quality of company standards in order to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee/ verify the inspection of vehicles before and after repairs in order identify faulty components and ensure complete correction.
• Oversees the recruiting, orientation, and training of automotive service technicians and service advisors to ensure a proper understanding of needed repairs and proper preparation of repair orders.
• Acknowledgment, handling and resolution of customer complaints
• Responsible for assigning and designating job duties to staff according to their performance and history.
• Enforce adherence with all safety standards and environmental laws and regulations
• Understand and create performance reports for technicians, advisors and service department performance
• Setting objectives for improvement and tracking
• Comply with health/safety regulations and procedures, ensuring appropriate disposal of environmental wastes such as used vehicle oils.
• Present reports and updates to the general manager on work activities.

Job Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills and organizational skills in service and repair
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Understand dealership technology and other automotive repair software
• Must have good technical aptitude or experience as technician
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Maintain professional appearance and work ethic with service department
• Flexible to work long shifts, weeknights and weekends
• Ability to foresee opportunities and talents within his/her department for growth and promotions opportunities.
• Maintains a high standard environment with ability to work in a fast-pace environment, highly organized, and manage time efficiently.
• Individuals must have a 2 year minimum of Automotive Service Management.
• Demonstrate an ability to communicate company goals and expectations to our team members and customers
