What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at BridgeFund?
Are you ready to turn complex data into clear business impact and build seamless experiences for entrepreneurs? As our Data Analyst, you will be driving data-informed decisions that directly shape our product, user journeys, and customer experience.
Your role
As a Data Analyst, you are the go-to person for data and insights in one of our cross-functional Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs), each responsible for a different part of the customer journey. BridgeFund is shifting towards a product-led way of working, moving away from standard business intelligence toward hands-on product analytics that directly impact online performance and the customer journey.
You won't just pull data and answer standard business questions; you will understand the "why" behind every request. Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Commercial Leads, you will translate broad or ambiguous business needs into concrete, actionable insights. You are analyzing user behavior in the web app, evaluating A/B test results, or building trusted dashboards in Qlik. Furthermore, you will bring a pragmatic mindset, delivering fast, high-value solutions rather than over-engineered ones. Guided by our Team Lead and Senior Analysts, you will take full ownership of your deliverables, flag data quality issues pro-actively, and become the trusted data partner your team depends on.
Your responsibilities
Answer data questions from your MDT using SQL, with Claude as a sparring partner to write, review, and speed up queries. Starting with recurring queries and expanding into complex user behavior and conversion funnel analyses.
Design, build, and maintain intuitive, reliable dashboards and reports in Qlik that stakeholders trust for daily decision-making.
Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to clarify questions, uncover root objectives, manage expectations, and communicate clear recommendations.
Work with our Kimball-style star schema in Databricks. You’ll explore and validate data before anyone relies on it, flag discrepancies, and document metrics so everyone works with the same definitions.
Analyze user journeys and evaluate A/B test results on our web app to optimize phases across the customer lifecycle.
Pro-actively, identify data quality issues and document queries and metric definitions to enhance team-wide knowledge sharing.
What you bring
1- 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or Product Analyst. Experience in fast-paced scale-ups, startups, or consultancies is a strong plus.
Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions) and experience working with a BI/dashboarding tool (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau).
You prioritize speed and high business value over perfectionism and over-engineering.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to manage workload, set clear expectations, and comfortably say "no" when necessary.
You naturally ask "why" to uncover the decision behind a request, operating autonomously without needing daily detailed hand-holding.
Nice-to-haves: Experience with web/product analytics, A/B testing, Databricks, Git, or a background in fintech/lending.
