Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tulsa, OK, for an Experienced Staff Auditor with a local CPA firm (CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN THE TULSA AREA). The staff auditor is responsible for assisting senior auditors in planning, executing, and reporting on audits. This may include reviewing documents, testing controls, analyzing data, identifying risks, and communicating findings. The staff auditor will work on different types of audits, such as internal, external, compliance, or performance audits, depending on the needs and goals of the organization. Wide variety of clients
from non-profits to manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Combination of technical and soft skills to succeed in this role.
- Some of the technical skills are accounting, auditing, data analysis, reporting, and compliance.
- Be familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for auditing, as well as the tools and software used for data collection and analysis.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. The staff auditor should be able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders, work collaboratively with other auditors, solve problems creatively, think critically about the evidence and results, and pay attention to the accuracy and quality of the work.
