This role is responsible for ensuring properties are maintained to company standards, assisting with staffing coverage, leading special projects, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and supporting onsite teams with preventive maintenance, resident service requests, and property turns.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance leadership and operational support across multiple multifamily properties
- Assist properties experiencing staffing shortages, high workload, inspections, or special projects
- Oversee and perform repairs in areas including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting
- Ensure timely completion of resident work orders and apartment turnovers
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support property walks, REAC inspections, and vendor coordination
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians and onsite teams
- Maintain inventory, tools, and maintenance supplies
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in emergency on-call rotation as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience required
- Previous supervisory or maintenance management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel regularly between assigned properties
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with property management software
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- HVAC certification preferred
- CPO certification a plus
